Every year, up to 2-3 trillion wild caught fish, 100 billion farmed fish, and 350-400 billion farmed prawns are murdered across the world.


The estimated 500 billion farmed aquatic animals live in deplorable conditions, and there has been little lobbying directed at improving aquatic animal welfare to yet.


The Mariana Trench is the deepest known section of the Earth's seas. Its deepest point being 11 km. 


Under water, the world's longest mountain range may be located. The Mid-Oceanic Ridge is a 56,000-kilometer-long mountain range that extends across the heart of the ocean basins.


The Great Barrier Reef, the world's biggest living structure, is found in the sea. It is visible from the Moon and measures around 2,600 km.
